About me
Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Tenelle Osborne (Tenelle from Captain and Tenelle, and no I am not related to Ozzy). I recently graduated in May from the Associate Degree of Nursing program at Western Kentucky University, and decided to continue my education to recieve my Bachelors Degree of Nursing. I work at a smaller hospital in the labor and delivery and though I don't deliver the babies, it seems I do everything but. I also just bought my first house, so life at the moment is very hectic. I'm trying to get use to this new and different beginning. If you have any questions to ask me, feel free.

I always wanted to be a nurse and work in labor and delivery but I have a fear of needles so obviously being a nurse wouldn't work out! haha.. Thats awesome that you just bought your first house! Congratulations! Hope you have a good semester!
ReplyDeleteRachel,
ReplyDeleteThis is Robert Moser. I started reading your blog and it got me interested. My mom has a master's degree in Nursing and has been a Nurse for 25 years. I was looking into switching my major into Nursing. Very hard field congrats on comming back and continuing your education. Good Luck!
Rachel,
ReplyDeleteThat is really intresting that you work in labor and delivery. I on the other hand could never work in any department in the medical feild because all bodily fluids make me sick. On a different note my brother is trying to get in the Nursing program at WKU so naturaly you blog caught my attention. Hope everything goes well with you!
Hey to you all! I didn't expect me being a nurse would create such an interest, but I'm glad that it did. Yes I work on a Labor and Delivery unit. It is always extremely interesting and fast pace, but I love it. I hate to say this, but I would never suggest anyone to go into nursing (doesn't that sound terrible). Now don't get me wrong, I love my job, and I would never discourage anyone that wanted to go into, but I would never say "hey you should be a nurse". And I think I say this because nursing school was almost the dealth of me. But if I look back now, it was worth it. I love what I'm doing. Once again its great to meet you all! I hope we have a great semester! : )
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool that you work in labor and delivery. I have a huge fear of needles as well. Perhaps if I were not such a big baby, I could choose such a great major! And, it is really neat that you just bought your first house! That is something that I am definitely looking forward to as I get older. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteyes that is very cool you are in Nursing! I would do it if i could but somehow life took me down the path of nutrition and wellness! we will definetly have to keep in touch and share stories..yours of which obviously are going to be way cooler than mine but that is okay! haha. by the way I did like that quote you left on my blog, I have heard that before and I totally agree with it!
ReplyDeleteSarah: Theres nothing wrong with nutrition, haha! And I'll share some stories, but sometimes I think I'm a little to nursey for people, lol.
